Amsterdam is the city of youth, great architecture and, of course, exciting night-life and great business opportunities. It doesn't matter if you come to Amsterdam to party, or to explore all its beautiful sights like the world-famous canals or grand historical buildings.
Amsterdam and the people who live there extend you a friendly welcome. Most Amsterdamers speak English as a second language and are always able and willing to help you to find your way in their city.
Hotel Manofa, situated in the heart of Amsterdam, is a one-star bed & breakfast hotel, aiming to achieve two stars soon. The hotel was totally renovated in 2004. We offer comfortable accommodation to every kind of traveller to Amsterdam, wether your here for business or pleasure. We have Premium en-suite or Budget rooms (with shared facilities) and our rates include a continental breakfast buffet in our Italian restaurant "De Markies". Our hotel offers several types of rooms for one to five guests.
We have a 24-hour multi-lingual reception staff that will warmly welcome you to our hotel and help you with your visiting plan.
From The Airport
Amsterdam Schiphol, Europes largest airport, is your gateway to Amsterdam. The train is the most convenient form of transportation from the airport.
The station is clearly marked and located in Schiphol Plaza at the center of the airport. Tickets to Amsterdam Centraal Station (one way 2nd class 3.10 EUR) can be conveniently purchased with a credit card at the yellow ticket booths or at the Dutch Railways ticket counter (3.60 EUR).
A taxi is approx. 45 EUR per person.
From The Railway Station
Amsterdam Centraal Station is within walking distance - just 300 meters/yards.
Exit the central station from its main entrance. With the station building behind you, keep to the right. Cross the bridge, then cross the road at the traffic lights and you will find yourself in the pedestrian section of Damrak, Amsterdams main street, lined with cafés and just a few steps away from your comfortable bed at Hotel Manofa.
By Car
You dont really need a car in Amsterdam, as most attractions are in walking/biking distance and public transport is reliable and runs until late at night. Traffic in Amsterdam can be difficult, like in many cities, and parking is expensive. In our neighborhood you can park for 4.60 EUR per hour, and there is a parking service that offers 24 hours for 20 EUR. Ask for it in the reception
