Pensao Policarpo is a 17th century building, located in the Historical Center of UNESCO World Heritage City of Evora. Run by the Policarpo Family for 4 generations; it provides you a family, friendly and cosy atmosphere.
Three different types of rooms: with shared bath, with private shower, with private bath and AC.
Magnificent view over the roofs of Evora, our Guest House is at 50 meters from the 13th century Cathedral and the University of Evora. From here, you can walk easily to all monuments!
Private parking for our guests. Breakfast included.
We help you to discover the wonderful region of Alentejo, with its megalithic monuments, medieval villages, natural landscape.

We have booked Pensao Residencial Policarpo, but there was contruction, when we arrived. The staff changed our accomodation to Residencial DIANA. It was great. Very cozy. Perfect location. Near university, Cathedral. Staff was friendly and helpfull, she speaks English and French. Breakfast was good, but i didnt like coffe (it wasnt espresso, it was americano
I was surprised because in other hotels (Porto, Algarve) we drunk very good coffe. Cozy rooms. Nice furniture and a little strange douche in th room.
But ir as nice, because we booked a room with shared facilities.
