Ashgrove House is a full-service B&B in Bunratty, close to Bunratty Castle and Limerick City, and a very short drive from Shannon Airport.

Your room will be warm with comfy beds, tea and coffee making facilities, television, clock/radios, hairdryers, curling irons. A warm welcome awaits you, with maybe something to warm the cockles of your heart.

Our bedrooms are non-smoking. We do try to accommodate smokers, but we generally prefer that you smoke on the porch. On occasion we may be able to relax this rule, depending on the number of occupants in the room. Feel free to ask; we'll discuss your particular situation.

Check-out is at 10:00 a.m. Check-in is usually between 2:00 and 6:00 p.m. We will, however, accommodate early arrivals from the Airport. And we'll wait up for late arrivals from the Airport if the reservation is pre-booked.

From Shannon Airport

As you leave the Airport, you are on road N19. It eventually joins road N18, connecting Galway and Limerick. Off N19, take N18 to Limerick.

After 1-2 miles you will see signs for Bunratty.

Follow N18 to Bunratty and continue to Bunratty Castle. Take Low Road between Durty Nellies Pub and Bunratty Castle. We are 3/4 from pedestrian crossing at castle gate

You will be so close to the Castle that you can roll down the window and almost touch the Castle wall.

Durty Nellies Pub is in front of you, on the left-hand side.

Take a left onto Low Road, between Durty Nellies and Bunratty Castle. See photo below.

DO NOT pass Durty Nellies Pub!

Drive through the car park.

In front, the road narrows into a little country road.

Ashgrove House is less than a mile on the left.

It's the 7th house on the left, or the 5th B&B on the left.
