In general i liked this hostel. There are only 3 or 4 rooms, each has 4 girls. It was very quiet!
The internet connection is very good! U can have the connection also in the room! That was great. There are 2 computers, which u may use if u dont have a lap top.

There are 2 bathrooms, that are clean and have always hot water. The towel u may rent for 1 euro for all the time of staying. Every bed has a small lamp, so i could read something without disturbing the sleeping girls.

It was a bit difficult to find the hostel, because it is in the house, which has the small hotels on the each floor. About the kitchen: some clever girls have boiled the spaghetti in the kettle, so i might forget about making tea! And the microwave was very dirty, so i could not use it. But i think it was a problem of the guests of the hostel, and not of the staff. The travellers have to understand, that they should leave everything clean.

The hostel is not far from the Termini station (7 - 10 minutes by feet). Direct near the door is a restaurant. So i would advice this hostel.

I am about to leave on Sunday to move into my apartment but I have stayed at the Papaya Hostel since 7th September. This is an excellent hostel, the price was great, the girls are all lovely, its very clean. The women here have been from all over the world and all ages which has been nice and I have made a few good friends here. Maya looks after the hostel during the day, she is absolutely lovely, she has helped me so much since coming here, and encouraged me with my Italian! You can be as sociable or quiet as you want here as there is a communal kitchen/computer room where you can sit and chat with others or you can chill out in your room. For my first hostel experience this was absolutely perfect, cant recommend it highly enough! Thanks guys :-)

The place was amazing! The rooms got quite hot in the evening since there was only one fan per room but apart from this is was a great location and very friendly and helpful staff.

We were very impressed with the Papaya, and thought it was excellent value for money. We had an amazing Hostess who kept the Papaya spotlessly clean and was helpful in every situation. We would certainly stay there if we came to rome again.

It was a really nice hostel!! the loaction is awesome, near to Termini station and the cenrte of Rome!! The Rooms were really nice, too. It is great that you can use two computers and Wi-Fi all the time!!

The day we were set to arrive in Rome There was a strike with the trains so many travelers were having to readjust their plans. the owner was fabulous and though the papaya was full he made sure we had great accommodations.

The location is really convenient as it's very near the train station. Id recommend it!

I just loved this hostel... everything was SO clean, and the beds were sooooo confortable, the girls were great, organized and cool. The girl that runs the place was fine too.. she speaks a lot of languages, she's cool and was there all the time, cleaned everything everyday (and you dont need to leave the hostel so she can clean it up, as some other hostels do!).
The internet wifi was always working, the shower did have hot water (eventhough are only 3 baths for 4 rooms, the line was never big or long)!
The location is like 10 mins from termini station, and even though i was a bit worried at first in staying there - as some pleople told me it was not that safe (i was by myself) - there is people in the street during the night. So it was easy to find, to walk around during day and night, and as its near to central station, dont matter where in rome you are, you'll always be able to get a bus to termini.
Everyone had their own locker, they give you all the keys you'll need when you check in. The breakfast was a drink (coffee, capucino, chocolate) and something to eat (piece of cake, croissant with nutella), so it wasn't awesome, but it was fine, and lets be honest, for the price you pay, it was really great.
I have absolutely nothing to argue about. Loved it and would stay there again and again, for sure.

This hostel was great! The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The hostel was cleaned every day and I felt very safe here. I would definitely recommend the Papaya to any girl travelling in Rome!

I'd needed to find somewhere at the drop of a hat - and as I was travelling alone, this looked ideal. I wanted a hostel and not a hotel and Papaya turned out to be one of the best hostels I've stayed in.

The accommodation was new and clean, tastefully and brightly furnished. The bathrooms were immaculate (and I do think that people kept them clean after using them too). It was great having internet access and the staff were super. I checked in really late and the receptionist and 'porter' were the most helpful people yet. It was quick and easy to find from the station and easy to get to either of the two metro lines (I preferred to walk everywhere so didn't use them).

Breakfast vouchers were provided for you to use at the Bar on the corner - and I had super baked goods on each occasion.

I'd recommend this property to any girl(s) travelling alone or as a girls group, and would stay there again if travelling alone in Rome.
