Mappilassery mansion is situated in Champakulam, the beautiful Water logged village of Alleppey is an ultimate back water destination. The visitors can get into activities like fishing and boating. A cruise on the houseboat in back waters can make them feel in paradise.
It’s a building that upholds the pride of heritage and ancient architectures. Many of the rooms that are fully wooden were granaries used for storing rice grains in olden days. It is a kind of peace and beauty it generates being amidst the evergreen lush of paddy fields and coconut palms makes it an ideal destination for poets writers and painters. The typical Kerala traditional food being served here, prepared by the host give u the real taste of Kerala
It’s also an ideal place for bird watching, you can get to see lot of local and migrating birds in and around the property, an another attraction is the duck farmers rearing their ducks in the paddy field after harvest.
Moreover the hospitality and service provided by the host makes u really feel at home away from home.
