Casa d' Óbidos is a manor house dating back to the 19th century, carefully restored and redecorated in 2000.The house, with cozy interiors and lovely gardens, offers the warm and peaceful atmosphere of the traditional Portuguese houses.

Tiling by local artisans, meticulously selected antiques and fabrics result in a tasteful and distinctive elegance.

It has 6 large rooms with private bathrooms, lounge, dining room with TV, fire place and snooker table.

From everywhere in the farm a magnificent view of the castle can be enjoyed as well as extensive lows, gardens and orchards.

All of these reasons make Casa d' Óbidos the ideal place for those in search of rest and silence in natural surroundings.

There is also a cottage of the 18th century, recently restored.

The ground floor (Casa Matilde) is divided into two bedrooms (with bathroom), living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a private lawn with flowerbeds and barbecue.

The first floor (casa Cristina) has three bedrooms (with bathroom), a fully equipped kitchen and a large living room.

Besides, there is still a lovely apartment - "Casa Leonor" - with a living room, "kitchenette", bedroom with bath and spare bed up in the "mezzanine".

A tennis court, a swimming pool, 10.000 m2 of lawn and forest and covered parking are also available for the guests.

Directions from Lisbon Airport

1. As you leave the airport you will come to a large roundabout with traffic lights. Take the first available right off this roundabout. (Signed 2a Circular). This will bring you up onto an urban motorway. Within 1.5 kms you will pick up the blue motorway signs indicating the A8 to Loures/Leiria. Follow this.

2. Keep on this motorway for approximately 73 kms picking up signs for Torres Vedras, Lourinha, Bombarral, Peniche, Obidos and Caldas da Rainha. Leave at the Exit 14 signed óbidos.

From Lisbon by BUS:

Take Expresso bus in 7 Rios station to Caldas da Rainha, and in Calda da Rainha bus station take the bus to Obidos.
