It's a small and clean hostel. It's perfect for a trip to Paris. The rooms are very small small but it's enough for sleeping.
The hostel is in a nice area of Paris. It is nice an not very noisy there.

There were really nice people working there, they had a good place downstairs where you could just hang out at night. Breakfast was really good and there was everything you needed.
At night it was really noisy though, you could hear everything they said downstairs which was kind of annoying when wanting to sleep. But apart from that, it was pretty good. I would definitely go there again.

• *( OUR ) WORST HOSTEL IN EUROPE FOR 2010**

Stay here for the following attractions :

1. True 1870 Parisian squalor, with filthy floors, walls and toilets available in your room ( aka small cell ).
2. The worlds most pathetic breakfast with strictly one roll, one croissant and a thimbleful of cornflakes ( yes, I know what you're thinking - cornflakes are the least nutritious of all the cereals ).
3. Enforcement of the super regulated breakfast restrictions by a four foot, miserable, Adolf-like, aesthetically displeasing old woman who physically accosts you if you so much as eye an extra piece of sustenance.
4. An added bonus that they don't tell you about - massive scaffolding and cloth across the entire front of the building due to alleged renovations that super heats your room, completely blocks views and deprives you of somewhat desirable oxygen. But wait .. theres more! It also results in workers literally hammering through your wall at 8am every morning with clouds of dust going through your possessions / belongings / bedding, not to mention the odd worker eyeing up female guests as they sleep or shower.

Fairly warned be thee.

the location is great- close to the metro station and to the sacret heart basilic.Montmartre is beautifull, with nice people and great restaurants. The hostel staff is very nice and very helpfull. however, the bedrooms (i stayed in a twin bed ensuite) are old, not very clean and the bathroom was terrible- almost no hot water in the shower and only one person at the time in the bathroom! breakfast very poor- only 1croissant,1bread...and noise until 4a.m.!! overall-great location,great staff but, please, improve the facilities!!!
