From Tangier:

You must take the highway P38 towards Tetouan. Once past Tetouan, you need to follow the signs for P28 to Chefchaouen, along the way there are mile markers telling you how far you are from Chefchaouene, it’s a direct road and quite simple. Tangier is 52 miles away from Chefchaouen.
