Wake up to the jungle sounds of Madagascar! Stay with us and receive a FREE single entry ticket to our beautiful Wildlife Park!
A unique place to stay from just £20 per night! Durrell Wildlife Hostel is a traditional Jersey farm house which is located in the north western corner of our wildlife park. It is only a 10 minutes walk to coastal cliff paths and has a bus stop at our wildlife park's entrance, which makes St.Helier easily accessible.
Durrell purchased Les Noyers in 1985 with the express intention of developing a residential programme of endangered species recovery training. Since that time we have trained more than 2800 conservationists from 128 countries in how to save species from extinction.
Durrell focuses on the most threatened species in the most threatened places. Our dedicated staff at the wildlife park use their skills to care for highly threatened species and support conservation efforts around the world. By visiting the park you will see some of the most endangered animals in the world and learn about our projects in the field.
You can also take part in a range of events & activities ranging from festivals within our wildlife park, to taking part in overseas challenges such as cycling through India or trekking the great wall of China and seeing magnificent wildlife along the way.
We have ten bedrooms catering for 24 people, in individual through to shared, and family rooms. The accommodation is hostel-style, with shared shower and toilet facilities.
We offer bed and continental breakfasts.
Every guest is given a complimentary ticket to enter Durrell’s world-famous wildlife park, lying adjacent to Les Noyers. Other facilities include:
