I lived in a twin room with shared bathroom.The room has no window,and it is very small and narrow.There will be no fresh air coming through.And there is no actual bathroom.Just a small toilet room with a shower above.It is very inconvenient to take shower in the tiny toilet room.Everywhere is wet,and no where to put your own clothes.It is better to bring your own towel,and also tooth paste and toothbrush.
The receptionist I met cannot speak English.So make sure you check everything that she gives you,e.g:the room type.
The hostel is quite hard to find,It is on the 7th floor of an old building.and outside the building,there is no sign saying where the hostle is.But the location is relatively good,there are many shops and restaurants nearby.
There is free internet,if you don't have your own laptops,there are two computers in the reception office that you can access internet.
Overall,I don't think it is a comfortable place to stay in,if you don't mind too much about the living condition,but the location and the price of the hostel,then dragon hostel might be right for you.

Easy to book and stay there. Love the location close to the Mongkok Metro and Ladies Market the staff were very helpful. Many thanks to Steven in the day and Stanley at night. Very chill and friendly. Free Wifi was great. A good price for a pleasant stay.

overall is good -

located in the bussiness center so can can find what u want

the staffs can speak english and helpful

the room is quite tiny but cheap and reasonable

PS. air consition is so cool !! haha that's good if u stay in summer

You can stay at very resonable price and very easy access to subway (Metro). Enjoy hong kong.

My stay with Dragon Hostel was great!!
I 've been with them twice and i am amazed by the location,
its so convenient, plus the other residents there were also
good, not that those noisy youngster!!

Stayed for three nights here. Location is great, since the buses and MTR stations are easily accessible. There are two popular fast foods nearby for those not interested to try local food and 7-11 store.

It's not so easy to find though for a first timer, since the entrance of the building is not that conspicuous.
But it's okay, once you find it. The rooms and the bathroom are small but clean and functional.

Ideal for those on a budget. Would recommend this hotel. It's really value for money.

We were truly satisfied in our stay with Dragon Hostel. The BEST location for a first timer in HK. The location is great because it's in the middle of shopping centers and transfortation facilities like MTR and bus stations. The hostel itself is very easy to find and the staff and management were so helpful in every way starting from giving directions, fare rates, suggesting itinerary, accomodations to simple requests and a lot more. We will definitely be recommending Dragon Hostel to my friends who plans to go HK too. And when we go back for another trip in HK, we'll sure be staying in Dragon Hostel again. - Noreen Q. (Phils)

Great location and as hostel is between Mon Kok and Mon Kok East MTR stations its easy to get to anywhere from here. Room was very small for the 4 off us but I guess thats Hong Kong. Only issue was hard to find anyone at the reception desk at times.

The Dragon Hostel is in an excellent location, right next to Mongkok station and surrounded by busy streets for shopping etc. The rooms are very small but that is to be expected in HK. It is very clean and all private rooms that I have stayed in have had a TV. Last time I stayed there I booked a room without a toilet as it was cheaper, but when I got there my room did have a toilet but I didn't have to pay extra for it. the staff are very friendly and there is free internet. There are no real amenities, just free tea and guide books, but as it is right in the middle of Mongkok you don't really need any. There is a lift up to the hostel so it may be accessible for wheelchair users, although I would ring them in advance as some of the rooms are up stairs and I think there is a small barrier type thing at the door which may be difficult to get a wheelchair through. All in all, an excellent hostel and one which I always use when I visit HK.
