Rooms were OK, very hot and a lot of mosquitos. Bins were not emptied for 5 days in the room and the hostel is miles away. Most of the staff were reasonable enough except for one older Italian woman who made many mistakes, never apologised for the inconvenience and was horrible!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Piero Rotta Hostel in Milan! The staff was friendly (for example: they allowed me and my friend to leave our bags behind the reception desk on our last day) and the hostel is very close to a metro station (QT8)! However, there were two things that were a bit annoying. In the morning the hostel is very clean, but if you arrive later at night the toilets and sinks can be a bit messy. Another negative point is the fact that the doors in the hostel are very noisy, so you will always hear the people who arrive during the night. But overall, a nice hostel with a good location and friendly people.
