A short stroll to the port brings you to the hydrofoils that ply a glittering sea to the Egadi Islands. Here you can marvel at the unspoiled beauty of Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo.

A few kilometres distant is the ancient hill town of Erice, and driving up to Erice, with its wealth of medaevel lore will give you sunset views that are unforgettable. Majestic and dramatic islands falling into a sparkling Mediterranean sea. Beyond is San Vito lo Capo and the ‘reservoir of the gypsy’ with truly magnificent views. Also unmissable are the temples of Segesta and Selinunte, these represent some of the best ancient greek architecture in the world.
