stevenvarg A very comfortable stay, Situated in a quite area 10 mins from the city centre. There is a 24hr garage and train station close by too. Ron was an excellent host with good valuable local knowledge. The room was clean, presentable with all facilities needed. The Guest house in general was quite during the night and the breakfast was delivered beautifully to the room on time. I cant really fault anything and if given the opportunity I would defiantly stay here again if I returned to Glasgow.
fbassotto we've stayed in there for 3 days and the bed was very bad and tv wasn't working very well..... but that is good services and location.
moores.men The Victorian House is not a flash hotel but the breakfast was good. Overall it was probably reasonable value for money although we might think twice before staying again.

shakuntala i guess it was okay, until the receptionist put me into the wrong and occupied room (i booked a private room for 2)! When i realised that we were in the wrong room, they moved us right away, a little bit rushing, and then came the moment where i forgot some of my stuff in the previous room. Its just sad that they just told me to wait until the next morning to check in the lost and found section of the hotel. Sorry, but i dont trust people that much, especially with my personal belongings. The kitchen was okay, the common room is large and comfy, the room is also comfy, especially when the heater is working (I visited during winter, when u needed the heater the most). Well, overtime, during my 6 days stay, the heater is not that warm enough. Oh, and when you visited this place, do prepare a lot of coins, because you might need it to buy Pringles, Cokes, tea or coffee and to turn on the TVset. Bear in mind you have to be patient with the card-operated elevators.
