Sipco An early-summer-weeks dream The Vila looks like the house of Pippi Långstrump (pour le connoisseur). The beds are cosy and the air is fresh, and there are no mosquitos in Ljubljana - enjoy. I suggest to eat the breakfast on the old terrace in the garden. If the supply of breakfast goodies is not full to your taste: get vegetables on the marketplace in the center - tomatoes and some green salad? The location is very fine from the logistic point of view, on the other hand, the road and the train might be a disadvantage - they sound loud. During the week the Vila is almost empty, it fills during fridays and weekends. I do not have any objections, I want to bring my friends next time. Hvala very much (-:
emmadotcom This is a very polished hostel that is run by very clever people that know their business. Extremely clean and modern just a pity about breakfast.
pwalford Fairly close to the train station, approx 10 minutes walk. We had a basic twin for 50 euros with communal shower (toilet in the room) but no air conditioning and it was very hot so bare that in mind if booking a budget room in summer. The receptionist wasn't the freindliest. All in all not a bad option for the price.
dimitarkan Nice place, good people, beautiful location, don`t missed it. P.S. It is true that you have to tried their pizzas!
maya.petro The location is great but the room seemed not finished - it smelled like paint, the boxes and the tools for the windows were still there, i think they still needed time before they lodge people.
mosvice Great and helpful staff. Clean facilities. Big lockers. Very big bathroom. 30 min walking to bus/train station and 10 min to the old town. Quiet location.
przemass166 Very friendly staff and overall a positive experience however kitchen facilities seemed a little bit poor (only one mug, no dish drying rack).
ivanastracenski We stayed in this hostel for just one night, and our overall impressions are positive. The location was good for us, maximum 20min slow walking to the city center, which we don't consider far, and it was one of the few hostel that had a free parking place, which we needed. The facilities were really good, the bathroom extremely clean, and the room was separated into smaller parts, for more privacy. The only thing that wasn't that great was the check in part, because the owner wasn't there at all, but she left us the keys and a note, which we wouldn't have found if we didn't use our phones, which is not so cheap from abroad. On the other hand, she was very easy going, and we paid for our stay next morning, without any fuss or anything. So, if we go back to Ljubljana, with a car, we are going to stay there again ;)
andreanem Nice location, just couple minutes walk to the centre of the city. The bathrooms were OK, cleaned regularly, during the morning 'peak period' it was all wet, but cleaned within reasonable time. The little kitchenette we didn't use at all, it was smelly and not very clean. The rooms were OK, neat and clean. We were really satisfied with the helpfulness of the staff at the reception, very friendly and helpful attitude. We also appreciated free parking - they have a big parking lot very convenient right by the hostel. Overall, the hostel offers good value for the money paid.
