annika.ham We were so lucky to find this place. But we also managed to be the first to try out Marks place after he had done suck a great renovation! All is new and it is very tasteful and fresh. Green point is close to - everything - and we took so much advantage of being able to walk everwhere. Just hope that all the road work will be done before the World Cup!

tlothian Clean, open and friendly. Plus it was within easy walking distance of town being just off the top end of Long St

bex76 A really great hostel - friendly and helpful staff, great facilities, decent breakfast and a safe location. There's a decent TV room and pool table and some pleasant social areas to hang out in. It's less than 10 minutes walk from the Waterfront and there are restaurants/cafes and a convenience store even closer.
gtelford6 Observatory Backpackers were excellent. Their staff were extremely welcoming and helpful with recommendations for local points of interest and arranging airport transfers, car hire etc. Also very knowledgeable about travelling in Southern Africa and generally. Rooms, kitchen and facilities are very clean and of a high standard. One of the best places I've stayed at in my entire trip and highly recommended. Garry, New Zealand

bex76 The hostel has good facilities and is in a convenient location for Long Street. There is a decent cafe bar on site if you don't want to cook. Staff are helpful and can book and advise on tours.
