karenski77 The accommodation as a whole was pretty good and well worth the small cost involved. Since we booked this knowing that it was not in the city centre, we fully expected the location to be poor, but not so. Besides being right on the doorstep of the fish markets, it was also just down the hill from the Busan tower, the PIFF area (Pusan International Film Festival), street markets (some cheap stuff to be had there), and the airport limousine bus stop, and the subway station. The subway is only two stops from the main KTX line at Busan station, where there are also many tourist buses available. On the other hand, we did travel to the centre of Busan and thought there was nothing to recommend it, so overall we were very, very happy with the location of this accommodation. The rooms themselves were quite large, even on western standards. The bed was quite firm but not the hardest we've slept on. The computer in the room was all in Korean without the software installed to change it to English, but if you're carrying your own laptop, there is an internet connection, though it's not exceptionally fast. There is also a very large flat screen TV, which could be used with the computer as a large PC screen. This was a rather nice feature, especially for viewing photos taken that day. A great feature of the room was the block-out shutters and the sound proof double glazing. This meant that you could get a good night sleep without the busy street sounds or the daylight disturbing your sleep at 5 am. The decor was a little old, but very adequate. They do supply the usual shampoo etc if you don't mind using the supplies that are there, fresh towels and linen. The bathroom was rather large, had great fittings etc, but there wasn't a lot of water pressure to run all the fittings in the shower, so hand held worked the best. The staff are very accommodating, speak English and try their best to sort out problems and give any information they can. Considering it was a budget hotel, it was well worth the money.
