lloyd1018 When I checked in here I was lead to believe that the breakfasts would be free. The man behind the counter even double checked my booking and confirmed this to me. I was delightfully surprised. When I checked out three days later of course it was a different story. Another man who was at the counter said 'we never offer free breakfasts'. To say the least I wasn't impressed. I suppose you could put it down to a communication breakdown but it didn't seem that way to me. I've stayed in quite a few places overseas and never had an experience like this before. On top of that I was charged for internet use. No service charges were mentioned when I requested a wi fi login and password. As it turned out I couldn't login to the service using my laptop anyway for the first two days. The first man I checked in with knew that. Yet it appears I was charged for a service I couldn’t access. Btw when I did logon on the 3rd day it was a weak signal. When I arrived I asked if I could pay the bill then and there but was told I couldn't which made me suspicious. I was thinking this is probably a sneaky way of adding on costs, I don't like being lied to and feel I was deceived by this hotel. I agree with other reviewers about the rooms being quite good and the staff being friendly but I really hate having the wool pulled over my eyes. I think this hotel would do well to train their staff about ethics.
