beckyuittenboga We flew into Madrid and found this hostal easily. They sent me an email with directions which helped - but it is right off one of the metro lines. The receptionist was friendly, helpful and kind to weary travelers. Our room was clean and bathroom was clean too. The walls in hostals are pretty thin and you can hear a lot of what is going on -- but if you were as jet lagged as us - it doesn't matter. There is a TV (no English channels though) and free wifi. A great Kebap place is on street level and there is a grocery up the street. It is a great location and you can walk to the major sight seeing spots in Madrid (or hop on the metro which is super close).
klausfn This hotel is good, but too much sound around, because it is very near the tourist places and the nightclubs. In otherwise it's close the metro (subway), the Royal Palace, "Plaza Mayor" and "Puerta del Sol". In general is a good hotel.
