x The average starting price for a place to stay in Madrid is £40 per night.
slavinm The facilities were a bit limited as unfortunately there was no fridge or facilities to make tea or coffee at the hotel. It was in a very convenient position and also with good security.
josephine. Loved the place! Good location, (though the small streets downstairs could get dodgy at night - just avoid walking alone), lovely staff (though the old couple don't speak much English (their son does but wasn't around much), the lady is very good at "sign language" and very willing to explain things etc. :) She even let us choose our room from two choices. No computers but there was free wifi, clean rooms, they have a kitchen but it's private (but you could ask for hot water). Would definitely recommend.
ivie.jovanovic Location was perfect, close to the metro and in the centre of town. The service and the hosts were very helpful. Would stay there again any time.
