beckyuittenboga We flew into Madrid and found this hostal easily. They sent me an email with directions which helped - but it is right off one of the metro lines. The receptionist was friendly, helpful and kind to weary travelers. Our room was clean and bathroom was clean too. The walls in hostals are pretty thin and you can hear a lot of what is going on -- but if you were as jet lagged as us - it doesn't matter. There is a TV (no English channels though) and free wifi. A great Kebap place is on street level and there is a grocery up the street. It is a great location and you can walk to the major sight seeing spots in Madrid (or hop on the metro which is super close).
arsen777 Stayed at this place with my family on vacation. Very nice Hostel, clean, a bit outdated, but very reasonably price. Rooms are very small. Very good location. Two minutes away by foot from the Plaza de Mayor. Very close to the other places of interest. Not all of the staff speak english. To access the building you need your room card which give it a certain level of security. Next time we will be in Madrid we will definitely stay at this Hostel.
