tinevda We had a great, relaxed week at the finca. You get great value for what you pay, and the view is nice. The bed was a bit hard, and the waterpipes sometimes made a strange noise, but overall we do not regret a bit, and hope to go back! The owners are very nice, and you can always call them. Fresh towels every two days. There is a good restaurant close by, but it is easier if you have a car to get around and do some shopping. Safe and sufficient parking in the finca. If you're looking for a nice place to stay, just try and enjoy!

nikihamilt It is in paradise! Wake up in the morning to sunrise over el Teide volcano (helped along by the crowing cockerel) and a fantastic panorama over the Orotava valley. Pet the horses and the puppies, help yourself or get made a nice cup of tea by the super-friendly and warm hearted owners, jump in the hire car and off for a day exploring the island (it is 10 minutes to the very efficient motorway so super-connected). In the evening have a nice tapas in orotava towns old city with great character. I can recommend it for people with their own transport who dont have too high demands for luxuries. Isobella
Tofuersatz I decided for our Tour to begin with this Finca since it is near the airport and the description seemed really promissing. At first we had problems finding the Finca, you really should use the picup service from the airport for a small amount of money or a GPS ( N 28 02.183 W016 33.044). The house is on a street somewhere in the fields, a quiet location, just a few minutes away from everything you need (city/beach/mountain). My first impression was: this REALLY is basic. The owner said it once was a house just for the workers from the field to sleep in. He rebuilt it by himself and therefore it had a typical flair of a farm with the horses, the cats and the chicken. We had a large, comfy room, most of the furniture was do-it-yourself. The bath was a bit shocking: a small room with no roof and one waterpipe for everything. So a warm shower just in the afternoon ;) There also was a kitchen (no fridge) where you could cook something. Oh and yeah there was almost no electricity, but except for light at night and recharging your phone you would not need any. The cleanliness was alright since this was a farm. The room was clean, only the flies from the horse stable were a bit annoying. So but the greatest part of the finca where the people and animals living there. The owners where really kind and you would feel like in a family. The cats and horses where nice, the only animal I didn't like so much was the rooster... he would anounce the rising sun in the morning, and the best spot to do so was right in front of our window without glass. So don't forget your oropax. Resume: Basic, quiet, friendly. what else do you need?
