elslo516 Hello, We really enjoyed our 10 day stay at the El Mercat Studio Appartment in Valencia. The appartment is situated right in the historical centre of Valencia: Mercado Central (fresh food every day!), Cathedrals and Plazas are just 200m away. Just step out of the appartment and find yourself in the heart of historical buildings & its atmosphere ! The appartment is situated in a narrow street, 2 windows look out on the opposite roofs (ok for privacy). Downstairs there are 3 restaurants (cheap 3 course Spanish meals), so every evening you will hear locals & tourists enjoying their meal, chatting and laughing. Round 23u30 everything becomes quiet. Keep in mind that the appartment is on the 3d floor, which means you'll have to take 65 steps (!) to reach it (not that easy with luggage). The studio/appartment consists of 1 integrated room (kitchen/living room/2p bedroom) and a bathroom (douche/lavabo/toilet). We have some small remarks about facilities, which we will communicate to the owner of the appartment. Count 60 minutes to get to the beach: 15 min walk, along the Plaza de Ayuntamiento to the subway, then 30 min subway, and 300m and you're on a great beach. Subway system is of superb quality: only €6,40 for 10 trips and every 20 min you can hop on a subway. Regards Patricia & Michel Belgium

ellis.juli Really central hostel. Common room was great - everyone really friendly. The hostel has a great atmosphere! Could have done with a mirror in our room though...

anoniem This B&B was a nice place to stay but the room was very small and we only had one window and that made it very dark in our room. Allso, at night there was really a lot of noise. People were running around and screaming so loud that we woke up several times. We were suprised that the staff didn't do anything about that. The language was a big problem, especially in the cafetaria. We didn't speak Spanish and they didn't speak English, wich made conversation impossible. Overall we were satisfied with this B&B but more because of the low prices than the comfort of the B&B.
