lloyd1988 Everything was perfect! The food, the staff, the room and cleanliness was excellent. The hotel is located on the beach in-front of the best surf breaks in Hikkaduwa. Would recommend this as a must if you are staying in Hikkaduwa.

sbarnes We just came back from an outstanding week staying at the Ocean View Cottage. Mahindu and his wife run this place, it is right on the beach at a slightly quiter part of the beach but only a very short walk to all the nightlife and great restaurants. The cottage is wonderful for familes and we went as a group of 12. There is a great pool on the premises that is clean and really nice as a change to the ocean. Surfboard and Boogie Board rental is very close and very cheap. The owner will also organise very reasonably priced tours, tuk tuks etc and generally cant do enough for you. The rooms are all clean with options for fan or fan and a/c and fresh lined is provided daily. Meals at the hotel are very reasonably priced although the menu gets a bit limited after a few days. Overall, 10 out of 10 and we plan to go back and stay there again next year.
