The Beach House, Tamarindo, Costa Rica

The Beach House is the ONLY beachfront hostel in Tamarindo and an amazing place for surfers. Just in front of the hostel you find the best surf spots. Wake up, grab your board and walk by our private access to the beach.

The Beach House hostel is facing the estuary that divides Playa Tamarindo from Playa Grande which is famous for the nice and tubular waves that break there and the largest nesting colony of leatherback sea turtles on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica.

Our friendly staff is always more than happy to help you organize your surfing trips, excursions into one of the many national parks or just to show you around town. Also they can book your transportation so you don’t have to worry about anything.

The big beachfront backyard, where howler monkeys, parrots, hummingbirds and iguanas make the occasional visit, has hammocks, tables, and a barbecue area for all the guests it’s an amazing place to enjoy Tamarindo´s sunsets too.

The Beach House can fit up to 18 people, which makes it a calm place where to chill and relax all day long.

We are located in front of Hotel El Tesoro, just at the entrance of Playa Tamarindo and next to National Park Las Baulas.
