If you are looking for late nights, loud music and loads of alcohol, then the Southern Cross Hostel is not for you. Introducing Copenhagen's cosiest overnight stay; we are a small friendly hostel, offering a clean quiet stay.

New double beds, new bathrooms, kitchen facilities, wireless internet connection and friendly hosts. Feel like being at home in a country far away.

We are minutes from public transport, 15 minutes from the airport, 15 minutes from City Centre and 10 minutes to the beach. The local area is alive with shops, cafés and shopping centres.

At the Southern Cross Hostel we offer 6 double beds. They are very comfortable futon beds.

We have two dormitory rooms, with 3 double beds in each.

We have a fridge and microwave and kitchen utensils for your use.

There are screens which can be put up for privacy.

There are new bathrooms, both of them with two toilets and two shower cabins. Downstairs there is also a kitchen (with utensils) and wireless internet connection, which of course is free of charge.

Also included in the service is friendly staff that know the city quite well and that own the best (and very cheap) bar in town, the Southern Cross Pub.

The hostel also offers a private garden for chilling out, during day hours. There is also a BBQ which you may use.

Across the road is a launderette, where you can do your washing...

The hostel is easily reached by bus, both from the city centre or the airport it is approximately 15 minutes by bus.

From Kastrup Airport: take bus number 5A (stops just outside Terminal 2). Get off at Sundbyvester Plads (small square). Walk from there to Amagerbrogade 218b.

From Copenhagen central station: take bus number 5A. Get off around Smyrnavej and walk the last 100 meter or so to Amagerbrogade 218b, or get off at Sundbyvester Plads (last stop) and walk back.

From the Southern Cross Pub: you can take a few different buses, but the easiest one is bus 5A from Rådhuspladsen.

From the hostel to town: jump on every single bus going that direction and you'll get there!
