Maison de la Foret (Michelin recommended) is run by an English couple who previously managed their own hotel in Dorset. It's only 10 minutes drive from Bergerac and just 20 minutes from the Airport, nestling gently in the delightful forest and wine growing countryside of the Dordogne Valley.

The property is set in 15 acres of private forest with large gardens providing a tranquil and relaxed setting. You can stroll through the delightful woodlands, fish in the lake, relax on the lawns or enjoy a swim at the pool.

All bedrooms are fully en-suite with coffee/tea making facilities. We provide a warm and friendly atmosphere to ensure you enjoy your stay, with appetising buffet breakfasts to start off each day.

Maison de la Foret is an ideal base for discovering the many treasures of the region. There are delightful places to visit including medieval walled towns, impressive chateaux, riverside villages, prehistoric caves and other unique places of interest, and for the actively inclined, horse riding, golf, canoeing, rambling and cycling are all available within easy distance. There are also many enchanting footpaths through our local forest for walking and cycling.
