good position...staff very friendly, helpfull and kind...some room situated very near to the reception a little bit noisy, mainly during breakfest time..rooms without window, but we were very satisfied! recommend!

When reviewing the comments about this hotel, it seemed to be a good choice: good feedback and the pictures looked pretty good. So to say that we were very disappointed is the least I can think of.

Ok first, let's start with the good points. Hotel Sempurna is indeed very clean and you can see - and smell it - when you first arrive. The staff is friendly and courteous, the breakfast is quite copious and the location is quite convenient, 5 mins walking from either Imbi or Bukit Bintang MRT.

Now, when it comes to the downsides, the biggest and more visual drawback is the room itself: super super tiny (think 5sqm) with NO WINDOWS. It actually really feels like a storage room where you put a double and a tv in it. We had a standard room and all the standard rooms are windowless in this hotel. Not that I fancy a huge room in a budget hotel but a window is the bare minimum.

The second drawback is the worst: the NOISE. The walls are so thin that you hear absolutely everything that is going on in the lobby, in the corridor or even in the other rooms. This gets really tiring since you have people who come and go at any time. You actually know very precisely that it is 7am when you hear so clearly the noise of the breakfast plates being carried...

Other inconvenience could be the quality of the tv reception, the temperature of the shower or the lack of storage space but those are not really important compared to the first two big ones.

Overall, I really think that this hotel does not provide good value because no matter how cheap it can be (and it was not that cheap during CNY), you expect to sleep in a room (not a closet) and to have the minimum of intimacy. I therefore do not recommend this hotel and you will probably be better off by choosing perhaps a less clean hotel but one with real rooms.
