Coming onto Bank Street, you see a park on your right as you approach a junction with traffic lights. Turn left at these traffic lights onto North Road, passing New World supermarket on your right. After passing a pedestrian crossing, you see a sign for Glendining Avenue on your right. Enter this street; ascend the steep hill and Arden Street House is on your left at the top.

Continue on Great King Street. As you approach the end, you will pass the adjoining streets: Howe St. (right side), Moat St. (right side) and Willowbank (left). Then you reach a Stop sign at a junction where Great King Street North is intersected by Pine Hill Road - a one-way street descending from the left. There are signs for Timaru (left) and City Centre (right). Do not turn left or right here. Proceed straight across this intersection on Great King Street North to the traffic lights.
