Om Annecy Hostel
We\'re a friendly, safe, clean and cosy backpackers hostel and because we are centrally located, our hostel let you see everything there is to see in Annecy just by walking. Our hostel is totally renovated and all our rooms come with brand new beds, reading lights and private lockers. We are cheap, but we also offer most of our services for FREE so you will not see your budget exploded. FREE: internet access and wifi, map of Annecy, bed linen, lockers , a kitchen for your personal use, a BBQ, cable TV, a WII, board games, guitar, tennis table, darts etc...
Come enjoy our big garden with plenty of space to enjoy a drink, a barbecue, play french \'p�tanque\' or tennis table our just take a sunbath on our 60m� wooden terrace!
Because we are also travellers, we know what you can ask from a hostel, it\'s why we have no curfew and no age limit!
If you need anything in our hostel, just ask, we\'ll be pleased to help you!
Annecy is a old city with one of the purest lake of Europe, surrounded by mountains that offers plenty of activities.
You can also enjoy the old town which is surnamed the \'Venice of the Alps\' and by night, discover all the restaurants and pubs the city has to offer!
Annecy is only:
-20 minutes from the closest SKI resort!!!
-40 minutes from Geneva, we have a car going there from tuesdays to saturdays!
- 1 hour from world class ski resort like La Clusaz or Chamonix.
You can of course count on our staff who\'s from Annecy and will be happy to share their tips with you!
NOTE
Check-in is at 2pm (as the rooms are being cleaned) but of course you\'re welcome to leave your bags with us until then, chill out & have a drink!

This place was absolutely bang on! Just what we needed. Hotels in the area are very expensive, making the Annecy Hostel by far the best value for money in the area. We had a double room with a balcony and en-suite for about 50 pounds a night when most hotels in the area are double that. It has a full kitchen, garden with volleyball court, lounge area with tv and video games, close to the old town and friendly staff - the owner stayed on the phone to me for about half an hour guiding us through Annecy to the hostel because i didnt have a map. Highly recommended!

The Good:
Clean & Friendly. Staff were very welcoming and the location having been just renovated was clean & modern. Being in summer it was good to be able to go outside to eat & relax in the back yard. Bike hire available and very reasonably priced. Easy 5 minute walk into Annecy's old town and the lake.The not-so-good:
In bad weather, the indoor entertaining & eating areas might get a little cramped.The kitchen was clean & well equipped, but small & a little dark. The lights for the kitchen were only able to be controlled from behind the reception desk.
The room with 4 bunks was small. There were 4 lockers, large enough for valuables, but the overall floor space in the room had nowhere for bags to be stored. It meant that the 4 of us were stepping around each other & over bags of stuff.
Shower in room, but toilet in corridor.

We had a great time whilst staying at Annecy hostel. We had booked 2 nights originally but changed to 3 because Annecy is such a nice place. The lake is amazing. The people at the hostel were very helpful and the place was nice and tidy. We met some cool people here and will come and stay here again if/when we come back. There is also a cool backyard that was good for chilling out
