To a toa (Meaning to chill out in Brazilian Portuguese) is a beautiful and relaxing Pousada/hostel Situated a few blocks back from one of the most gorgeous beaches in Paraty (jabaquara).

It is one of the only Pousadas owned and run by a brazilian (Patricia) and a foreigner (James-English). Both have travelled the world extensively and stayed in many hostels and Backpackers. Our mission here is to help you through your travels and to make your stay here as great and enjoyable as it’s possible. To a Toa boasts continuing returns of cliental, due to its great location, Service and relaxing atmosphere.

. We cater for all types of travellers and offer dormitories rooms, double rooms and triple rooms rooms, depending on what you are looking for. All rooms come with ceiling fans, T.V or/and air conditioning. Superior rooms also come with a fridge. The Hostel/Pousada is WIFI friendly. There is also a great Breakfast with fruits of the season, choices of cheese and meats, Fresh breads, Cakes, Coffee & Tea etc…

When arriving in Rio de Janeiro please go to the main bus station and find the bus for Paraty. Please do the same for Sao Paulo.
