It is in the heart of popular and lively history of the Barbican, at the foot of the ramparts of the city that we moved and chose to open our house, renovated in 2011 to passing guests wishing to stop time and live special moments in a timeless.

Leaning against the Chapel of St. Gimer and a short walk from the city and its attractions, the Posada del Castillo offers careful blending modern comfort (bedding and quality health ...), and old elements in relation to the theme of each one and place to make your stay unique and unforgettable. You will have breakfast, consisting of carefully selected ingredients and mostly regional certified organic or on a terrace facing the city and the palace of the counts, giving you a grandiose setting.

You can then visit the city or the region with the advice of Laurence and Enrique, who speak several languages and can offer you or even arrange trips historical, spiritual, cultural, oenological ... or sporting activities to suit your tastes, on foot, by car, bike, boat or motorcycle. In the evening you can, before sitting down to eat if you choose to dine with us host table, sit quietly on the terrace or in the living room, a book in your hand since large library made of books ancient or modern, is at your disposal during your stay.

We will receive you with pleasure at the Posada and wish to share with you moments of warmth so that your stay in Carcassonne has allowed you to recharge your batteries and is synonymous with great holiday.
