The central train station of S.M.Novella is only 5 minutes walking distance; the Duomo Square, the Uffizi Gallery, Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti and Boboli's Garden are only 10 minutes walking distance from us.
Also the exhibition center of Fortezza da Basso and Palazzo dei Congressi are at 300mt. distance.
Around us you will find a lot of nice pubs, good restaurants clubs supermarket internet point laundrymat etc
Opened in April 2007, all the rooms have private bathrooms with shower; the wi fi internet connection is free of charge.
Reception is open dayli from 9 a.m. till 6 p.m. If your arrival time will be later than our regular check in time we can give you the entrance codes. Get in touch with us after your booking.
On request: byke rental; byke parking at night for free; bus tickets ( at the price of the bus company); laundry and iron service; lunch or dinner reservation in our favourite restaurants!
Swimming Pool in the Cascine Park only 10 minutes by Tram or bus n. 17 or 7E by taxi (15 minutes by bus for the Swimming Pool near to the Stadium).
Please Note: All the customers from the july 1st 2011 have to pay the urban tax; this tax is not included in the room rate; it is 2E per person per night.

The rooms were clean, spacious and very quiet. It is very handy to the train station and Florence is small enough that we can walk to the Uffizi in less than 30 minutes. It is around the corner from the market and street stalls. It is not really a hostel as we understand it...more like a tiny hotel on one floor of a large building. The person we dealt with was very pleasant and spoke pretty good English. We were expecting something a lot more basic for the price we paid. Note that we were there in March, so we have no idea about air-conditioning etc. The sign off the street says Hotel Nazionale.
Great little hotel, good location near to the station and all the local attractions. Staff are really friendly, and there is a very tranquil feel.
A little noisy in the rooms on the main road side, but not too bad and there isn't 24 hour staff, so arriving late you need the codes etc, but they handled this very well. Value for money in february was excellent!
