Hotel Maxim was one of the most conveniently placed hotels we stayed at in our recent trip to Italy. It was an easy walk from the railway station and right in the heart of the city. We had a little trouble locating it as the sign is on the second floor and the entrance not easily identifiable. It is a perfect location for exploring Florence on foot. It is a haven for art lovers with original pictures everywhere. Beautifully furnished and very clean. An excellent continental breakfast.

Absolutely central: Maxim is a cosy and typical florentine hotel located in the main street of Florence,Via Calzaiuoli,right in the City Centre, two steps from the Cathedral and the Uffizi. We offer you confort and reliability.

The hotel is within walking distance of all best shopping area and the most typical 'trattorie';it's central and safe location makes it perfect to enjoy Florence and its wonderful museums!

The hotel has 26 rooms: all have private facilities, telephone, air conditioning and Wi-Fi internet connection. The reception is on the third floor of a historical building that you can reach with the elevator. Hotel rates include continental buffet breakfast, internet acces, Wi-Fi internet connection, map of the city, service and taxes. The hotel offers free internet point and luggage room. Parking is possible in a garage agreed by the hotel with an extra charge.

We had a little trouble locating it as the sign is on the second floor and the entrance not easily identifiable. It is a perfect location for exploring Florence on foot. It is a haven for art lovers with original pictures everywhere. Beautifully furnished and very clean. An excellent continental breakfast. The staff were most helpful and friendly. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.
