Om Suwon Hostel
Suwon Hostel (Suwon Hwaseong Sarangchae) was built as part of a tourism initiative that promoted the Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The youth hostel is a convenient facility for tourists wishing to stay overnight.
The diversity of types of guest rooms includes Korean style rooms, Western style rooms and youth rooms, as well as leisure facilities, which are all provided for the pleasure to the satisfaction of the guests.
Suwon was formed by relocating government offices and private houses located below Hwasan into Paldalsan and by promoting Suwonbu to Yusubu. Construction of the Hwaseong Fortress is known as a great masterpiece. There are 41 facilities in the Hwaseong Fortress, of which 7 have not been restored. The size and functionality of the Hwaseong Fortress was modern for its day.
