x The average starting price for a place to stay in Gothenburg is £77 per night.
Sam I Am I stayed at this B&B while attending TUR in Gothenburg, a travel trade fair that takes place in the Svenska Mässan (Swedish Exhibition Centre). For anyone attending fairs or events there (or at one of the stations nearby) the location is perfect. It was about 200 metres from the entrance. It's about 10 minutes from the city centre of Gothenburg and lots of trams & busses stop more or less in front of the building (as you'd expect near an exhibition centre). So for me on this trip it was basically perfect. I gave it 4-stars for location only because it wasn't actually in the centre, but it depends on your trip if that matters or not. I decided not to give it 5-stars Overall because I don't think it's the kind of property that will work for everyone. First of all, you are living in the owner's apartment. There are family photos around, you share the bathrooms etc. If that's not your kind of stay, then this is not the place for you. On the flip side the price I paid was very good for a room which would easily have slept 3. A huge double bed and a single bed in a big room. I also saw a colleague's hotel room around the corner and for a single room he was paying 70% more. There was an excellent breakfast laid out for me in the morning on the table in the living room. I was in a rush so wasn't able to eat much, but there was fruit, fresh coffee, rolls, the works. The host is extremely friendly and helpful. All in all, it's great value and I would recommend it to friends.
jutta.hild Nice room in a flat on the fifth floor of a residential area that is within walking distance to several venues, especially to the Ullevi stadium but also to the convention centre, amusement park and city centre. Public transport is also less than 200 m away. The residential area is shielded from traffic noise by some office buildings so the room has a great location and is quiet. Bedlinen, towels and bathrobe are provided as in the description. Internet access with WLAN ran smoothly. The host is available almost at all times and provides also a breakfast if you prefer to stay in instead of visiting one of the cafes in the area. All in all: highly recommended for visiting Gothenburg.
aja2 I am fully satisfied from the stay. however i would recommend the Hotel management to publish (on their website) how to get there through Trams. I dont think that the hotel has a website. they should create one probably. otherwise everything was well. I would recommend others to stay in this hotel as well.
vincenttb I stayed here for two nights. I think it had one of the best facilities of all hostels I ever stayed. Great beds, luxurious shower and bath facilities (plenty as well) and a large common room with free Internet and telly. If you would have to name disadvantages - it's a bit off-centre and the entrance was a bit hard to find...
Steve England Overall not a bad hotel,on the edge of the main city centre. The room was snug for four men, but we would stop again. Try the lemon cake it's spot on!!!! and free.
Cosima_Gab I just stayed for one night. The room was nice with a basin in it. The showers and toiletts were clean.
bjoernbruehan The City-Center is in a walkable distance but a little to far to walk it several times a day, for example after shopping or for fresh cloths after heavy rain.
