chas.moell The Hotel Tschuggen is ideally located an easy walk from the train station and everything else in Grindelwald for that matter, since it is a very small town. The view from our window was breathtaking. Monica and her husband were charming hosts, and they speak perfect English (and Italian and German). The breakfasts were sooooo delicious. How do the Swiss make bread, jam, and cheese taste so good? I hope to be able to return to Grindelwald someday, and I would definitely stay at the Hotel Tschuggen
eaxtmann The Downtown Lodge was a great deal. We had a lovely family room for our family of 5 (one extra bed, for which we were not charged). THe breakfast was great -- bread, yogurt, muesli, and a great espresso/hot milk machine. We would definitely recommend the DL!
