HostelReview This facility is lacking. the rooms are small and packed. You would have no place to put ur luggage.
cytak22 The hostel is about a half an hour ride on a local bus (20TWD) from the railway station or if you arrive on the HSR there is a free shuttle. When we arrived with a confirmed booking for a private room with ensuite a lady who only spoke Chinese met us and showed us to a dingy room with no window, most of the free space was taken up with stored junk and there was no wall above the door opening. We protested and eventually were able to talk to someone in English by phone. Eventually we were taken to another building about 100 metres away where we ended up with what amounted to a private apartment with two rooms and a bathroom, both reasonably clean but quite basic. There was also a tiny fridge, a TV and drinking water was provided. However it was right above a busy intersection with noisy traffic all night. A few cheap restaurants nearby but not much else.
