wartel We really can recommend this place! Everything was more than perfect. As the descriptions of the guesthouse promises, the place is really very silent, the (included) breakfast is really very good (two choices), the english-thai couple is really very nice and extremely helpful, the location is really close to the city, the rooms are really clean and beautiful. Just trust them and our review as well as the reviews of all other reviewers before us and stay longer than you have planned in this wonderful guesthouse of a really great value!

mkeetley This hostel was wonderful. It felt more like I had my own apartment - the rooms were big and decorated nicely, and you really do get a bit of a terrace. They also clean your room daily which was more like hotel service rather than that of a hostel. The location was a short walk away from the pubs and nightlife, but I was happy to avoid the yucky old men with beautiful young thai "ladies" that populate at least one of the streets 5 minutes away. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the whole place had a nice, laid-back feeling. The downstairs lounge was good, but there weren't ever too many people coming or going so I didn't meet any other travellers here. I would definately stay here again if I ever went back to Chiang Mai.

slimdavea Nice clean and friendly accommodation. It is a little way from the night bazaar however there are plenty of good (and cheap) eateries near by. They have plenty of tours available, we didn't do any but other people we met had and there were no complaints from what we heard. One tour on offer was Doi Soithep temple, but we easily grabbed a Sawngthaews up to the temple for about 40 THB each and then paid 30 THB for entrance. And it is worth going to see. Rooms - we got a twin with shared bathroom, nice view and a balcony. Food - we had breakfast included and did also eat dinner there once when it was raining and we were lazy ! the food was good. Nine and Stella are very welcoming and the eating/chillout area is a good place to chat/meet other people.
