wartel We really can recommend this place! Everything was more than perfect. As the descriptions of the guesthouse promises, the place is really very silent, the (included) breakfast is really very good (two choices), the english-thai couple is really very nice and extremely helpful, the location is really close to the city, the rooms are really clean and beautiful. Just trust them and our review as well as the reviews of all other reviewers before us and stay longer than you have planned in this wonderful guesthouse of a really great value!

slimdavea Nice clean and friendly accommodation. It is a little way from the night bazaar however there are plenty of good (and cheap) eateries near by. They have plenty of tours available, we didn't do any but other people we met had and there were no complaints from what we heard. One tour on offer was Doi Soithep temple, but we easily grabbed a Sawngthaews up to the temple for about 40 THB each and then paid 30 THB for entrance. And it is worth going to see. Rooms - we got a twin with shared bathroom, nice view and a balcony. Food - we had breakfast included and did also eat dinner there once when it was raining and we were lazy ! the food was good. Nine and Stella are very welcoming and the eating/chillout area is a good place to chat/meet other people.

rich.walsh i stayed in goodwill guesthouse from the 7th to the 11th of march 2010, and i only have good things to say about both the guesthouse and the staff.....the place is run by one of the nicest people you could ever wish to meet.....Ann, she always had a smile and was always willing to help in any way possible. as for the actual guest house.....you get what you pay for !!! it`s really cheap, so dont expect A/C or a TV......but the rooms are a really good size and clean as is the bathroom....it is good value for money, what more could you ask for !!! there is a chill out area on the first floor with a couple of very comfortable leather sofa`s and all sort`s of travel books and maps for you to use, then going on to the 2nd floor you will find another really good space, this is where the open kitchen can be found, also enough table`s and chairs to seat up to 20(ish) people, there is also a tv up there.....my girlfriend cooked some great food up there, then we just sat back with a few ice cold beers, and enjoyed the views... i will be going back to chiang mai in the near future, and will stay in the goodwill guesthouse....and i will recommend the same to anyone who want`s to go to chiang mai. Richie.
