Edinburgh University's halls of residence on the Cowgate become SYHA Edinburgh Metro again for almost two month this summer. Located only minutes from the famous Royal Mile, historic Grassmarket, the Scottish Parliament and all the Edinburgh Festival action. The buzzing local nightlife is right on the doorstep and this part of town really comes alive during the Festival with many terrific venues just around the corner. All accommodation is in single rooms only. You might share the flat, but your privacy is guaranteed as all rooms are individually lockable (£10 key deposit required). During 2013 - Private apartments comprising of 4, 5 or 6 rooms with kitchen and bathroom are now available to book.Bedding is included and a take away breakfast (for £4.25 additional charge) is available. There are also laundry facilities (during day times only) and a bike shed available for you. Check-In is from 4pm. We have no curfew; there is a 24-hour access for you to enjoy the City.
