Can Tallada, Girona, 西班牙

Can Tallada was built at the end of the 19th century, as the family home of the Tallada’s, who had made their fortune in Cuba. It is now a beautiful property in an excellent location available for rent.

The South American influences can be seen in the typical architecture of the house, which is referred to as ‘estilo neocolonial’. In particular, the galleries and the roof construction reflect this style well.

Up until the 1970’s the estate had been in use as a family home, but later came into disrepair. After major renovation, maintaining the style and features of both the main building and its out-houses, we are now able to offer this lovely property for rent.

By car:

The route to Girona from Maastricht, Düsseldorf and Calais is entirely motorway. Maastricht to Girona is about 1290 km. Once in Spain, take the A-7 to Barcelona and then exit 6 to Girona-North, which is the C-66 to Palamos and Celra

By plane:

The closest airport to Bordils is Girona, to which Ryanair operate cheap flights from various airports in Europe. Busses are available at Girona airport to take you into Girona, where you can either take the train to Flaca and then a taxi to Bordils, or you can take the slow train all the way from Girona to Bordils.

Otherwise there are flights from most cities in Europe to Barcelona. From Barcelona you can take the train to Girona, and then on to Flaca or Bordils. A taxi from Flaca will cost you about 6 Euro.
