Our property contains a high specification kitchen with 2 ovens, toasters, kettles, microwaves, sinks and cooking equipment/crockery/cutlery all for guest use. Also in the kitchen is a dining area, perfect for socialising over a meal or watching TV.
We also have a gallery/common area with more seating and plenty of information about what to see and do in Edinburgh and the rest of Scotland.
Our shared facilities include electric showers (no running out of hot water!) each in a separate locked cubicle for privacy and of course separate male and female toilets. All showers and toilets are fitted with non-slip linoleum. Hair dryers are available for use free of charge.
We also have a laundry available for guest use, or for a few pounds extra we can do your laundry for you while you enjoy the city! An iron/ironing board is provided free of charge.
We offer 10 bed, 8 bed and 4 bed shared dorms as well as 4 bed private/family dorms. All rooms are carpeted and an international plug socket is located next to every bed for your convenience. Our accommodation is suitable for all ages and family friendly!
All guests can take advantage of our FREE internet access at reception as well as FREE Wi-Fi! All rates and room types include linen hire, complimentary breakfast each morning and FREE tea and coffee 24 hours a day. FREE same day luggage storage is available for all guests (before check in and after check out). Overnight storage is available for a fee. Lockers and towels can be hired for a small fee.
Haggis Hostels is located on West Register Street, just off the east end Princes Street (near North Bridge) in the New Town.
We are an easy walking distance from Waverley Train Station, Edinburgh Bus Station, St Andrews Sq Tram Stop and Airlink Bus Stop.
The Old Town is reachable in 5 minutes via North Bridge, there are also many pubs, clubs and tourist attractions within walking distance from the hostel. Edinburgh Castle is a 10-15 minute walk with a fantastic view of Arthur's Seat and the Royal Mile on the way.
