We are a fun hostel within easy reach of JFK airport. We can offer a shuttle service (see prices at end of the directions section). Guests can take the train to Times Square and Manhattan within 40 minutes. If you would prefer to explore Brooklyn attractions, visit Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Botanical Garden, Brooklyn Library, Prospect Park Zoo, New York Transit Museum, Coney Island and Brighton Beach, or for the Basketball fans out there the brand new Barclays Center ! LET'S GO NETS !!

We are a small hostel, located on the 3rd floor of a walk-up condo building. We have a large common area with a 52 inch television, complete with numerous and movie channels, as well as video games. We have two balcony terraces, with a grill, and a beautiful kitchen with a skylight, free Wi-Fi and a computer as well as a phone in the common area for guests to share, free of charge.

We have one 6-bed dorm and one 8-bed dorm. Our 8-bed dorm has its own balcony terrace and a ½ bathroom. We also have a full bathroom with a shower available to everyone.

RECEPTION HOURS : 12:00 pm (afternoon) to 12:00 am (midnight)

NO CHECK-INS WILL BE ALLOWED AT ANY OTHER TIMES, NO EXCEPTIONS.

**Please note we will NOT be able to accommodate New York State residents.

Check-ins:

ONCE YOU BOOKED you MUST specify your arrival time to be able to be checked-in or run the risk of not being accommodated, unfortunately, we do not offer 24hrs reception and do not have a staff working around the clock, please notify us if there are changes in your arrival time.

Photo ID is required for check-in.

Cancellation policy:

Guests can cancel their reservation free of charge up to 2 days BEFORE arrival date. Payments made to HostelBookers are non-refundable. AdventurehostelJFK/NYC reserve the right to charge your credit card in full for cancellations made less than 2 days before arrival (48 hours).

Cancellations MUST be made through E-MAILS ONLY !

Rates DO NOT include New York State and local taxes 14.75%+ 5.25% bed tax.

The best way to get to us from JFK is to use our options of asking for the shuttle which takes you from the airport to the hostel or the subway by taking the “A” train until you get to Broadway Junction and then transferring (free) to the “L” train headed to Canarsie/Rockaway Parkway, which is the final stop for the train. We are about a 10-15 minute walk from there. Leaving the subway station, turn right and walk to the stoplight at Farragut Road. At Farragut Road turn left and walk down to 86th Street. At 86th Street turn right, and walk until you find us at number 538 which is on the left side of the road. Ring the buzzer for number 3 and then come up to the third floor.
