amyjmilne This hostel isdifficult to find as it's not well sign posted and you need to know the door code to get inside, otherwise you could find yourself stuck on the street. On first impressions I noticed straight away that it's rather untidy and dirty. Although we had the one large private room, we still had to share the one bathroom and toilet with other guests who were staying in the dorm room next to us. The private room was big enough to have its own bathroom and if I owned the hostel I would put an ensuite in it, or at least another bathroom in between the private room and the dorm. It's certainly got the room and the demand for one. I found the only bathroom to sometimes be rather disgusting, with hair and God knows what in there. The cleanliness of the place put me off so much that we didn't even bother using the kitchen or the common room as there was stuff everywhere. I realise that this is a budget travellers gem compared to the extremely over-priced accommodation that can be found in Kiev, but I have to say that things could still be better as this place has lots of potential to provide a better experience for guests - especially those who are not Russian or Ukrainian.
