fjanhsen Comfortable room, very clean and friendly, helpful staff. We enjoyed the stay in Palacio Hotel very much.
missabrupt Tired but once was beautiful old building with original features. Front room with awsome old balcony. Not very friendly but classic building made up for it. No wifi.
vlizarazo At Ukelele Hostel you feel like home. Our hosts were quite kind and very helpful with giving guidance to enjoy the city. The place is absolutely beautiful and really peaceful. One of the best hostels I've ever stayed.
itod65 I think that all the service in te Pocitos Hostel was excellent especially the attention ande the treat.
metaldmiel I stayed in both hostels (Montevideo and Punta del Diablo), and in both cases the crew was great. I meet lots of people, and the crew at the hostel did their best to make me fell welcome. The hostel in Punta del Diablo is really close to the beach, to the center of the city and an atm. You have only shared dorms, but that has never been a problem. The kitchen is big enough to cook almost anything, so you can save a few *pesos* if you're traveling on a low budget. At night you can go clubbing or just stay at the hostel having a drink whith the guests. The hostel in Montevideo is close to the Pocitos beach, located in one of the most beautiful neighbourhoods of the city. Great architecture, and lots of places to go just walking, or renting a bike right there at the hostel. In case you just want to stay calm and chill out there's a bar in the hostel where you can have a drink or a beer. There's also a grill where the guests can cook an authentic uruguayan *asado*. Great overall experience, I recommend this hostel to anyone.
