TheSophist This is one of the best hostels that I have ever stayed in worldwide! The staff was AMAZING, the facilities were clean and cared-for, the location was outstanding, and the overall vibe was sssooo chill. If you are looking for a clean, cheap, fun hostel, this is the place for you. I will have pictures and video of the hostel up on my Travellers Point blog soon, so be on the look-out! On a side note, the total that I was given when I booked through Travellers Point was slightly less than what it actually cost. Apparently, the 9.5% room tax is not collected until check-in. This is in no way a negative aspect of the hostel, it is just something to be aware of when booking. [UPDATED: 2/25/2011]

Jaxquie This hostel is in the best location! Right accross the road from Pike Market. The staff are friendly and helpful, and organise some fun events for the guests. Free breakfast every day is AMAZING and free dinner 3 times a week is also a bonus - not many hostels provide this! I only had a couple of small gripes which where the noise from the street (but with the location it can't be helped!) and there are a few weirdos that stay there, but aside from that has been an awesome pleasant stay!
