woylie Vy is an excellent host, helping with bookings and making sure her guests are safe and well-informed. Her guesthouse is very clean, secure, and well-equipped. The location is excellent, a short distance from some main streets. Despite this, the lane way was surprisingly quiet. Highly recommended.

gerriteber Small room with a double bed, air condition, TV, hot water in the middle of the backpacker center of Saigon.
Eva-in-BKK I am more than satsified with the Luan Vu Guesthouse! You get to stay in a clean place with the most helpful and friendly staff! Only a short walk to the Ben Tanh Market and surrounded by bars, restaurants and small shops, the location is well chosen! I can only recommend this guesthouse to everybody who is looking for a budget accommodation but wants to stay in a friendly and safe place where you just feel comfortable!! I hope i will have the chance to stay there again!!
angel_song Had a lovely time at Mai Guest House. Grandmother Mai speaks pretty good English, and so does her son. Buy the water thêre. Cheapest around! Also, get their tours. Cheaper than elsewhere, though I didn't know till I bought elsewhere. Very hospitable. Nice room with êxcellent shower with good pressure. Asian Kitchen just down the road has good and cheap food!

davidiwers I booked for 5nights and stayed for 7 as i found it to be clean ,friendly and good value. It has a family atmosphere which i like rather than just business approach. It's position is handy to the city so everything is a short walk to food and cafe's. If you are on a tight budget it might not be your place to stay but if want somewhere to stay without any hassles i would recomend it. iWill be back in 2months time and will be staying there again. stendy_aribimo A tiny family owned guesthouse that makes you feel comfortable at all time. Really value for your money and everything in this guesthouse is clean ! One of the best place to stay in Saigon City with easy access to everywhere. However it might quite difficult to find this guesthouse at the very first time since it's located in the small alley and there's no sign in the main street for the direction.

Peter52p great Guesthouse clean rooms good location in centre of back packers area, good value for money only problem I found some of the staff needs a lesson in Customer service. but I would use again but I found Vietnam hard work as you have to stay alert 24 hours a day. I got robbed twice and ripped off three times even though a friend in Australia who was born and bred in Saigon told me not to trust any one in Vietnam, I should of taken more notice, so I do not think I will be going back to Vietnam again soon.
EnigmaNix when i first contacted them by e-mail the answer i got was not only prompt, friendly and very helpful with instructions on price and which taxi would be the best to catch. As stated in their promo "Ly Loan is a friendly and cosy family run guesthouse" that is what it was they went out of their way to help us. I have no problems recommending them. Alex
