Daawgon TP needs more stars to indicate the outstanding service at the Bich - Chanh, the manager is nothing less than EXCELLENT! No elevator here, and you must remove shoes, but it's a small price to pay for such a nice guesthouse. THE ONLY PLACE TO STAY IN THE PHAM! Chanh treats all his guests like close family members (you just have to help him with his English - he has problems with his "J" sound - practice "juice"). Rooms are plain but all have windows and are super clean. The location is in the heart of the Pham, and if it's booked, try the Blue River next door - also excellent.

woylie Vy is an excellent host, helping with bookings and making sure her guests are safe and well-informed. Her guesthouse is very clean, secure, and well-equipped. The location is excellent, a short distance from some main streets. Despite this, the lane way was surprisingly quiet. Highly recommended.
EnigmaNix when i first contacted them by e-mail the answer i got was not only prompt, friendly and very helpful with instructions on price and which taxi would be the best to catch. As stated in their promo "Ly Loan is a friendly and cosy family run guesthouse" that is what it was they went out of their way to help us. I have no problems recommending them. Alex
Eva-in-BKK I am more than satsified with the Luan Vu Guesthouse! You get to stay in a clean place with the most helpful and friendly staff! Only a short walk to the Ben Tanh Market and surrounded by bars, restaurants and small shops, the location is well chosen! I can only recommend this guesthouse to everybody who is looking for a budget accommodation but wants to stay in a friendly and safe place where you just feel comfortable!! I hope i will have the chance to stay there again!!

gerriteber Small room with a double bed, air condition, TV, hot water in the middle of the backpacker center of Saigon.
sawoods The hotel is in the heart of travellers land Saigon, the room was spotless, cleaned everyday, and sheets and towels changed every day too. Buffet breakfast was ok, staff very helpful. A/C and cable TV. The room that we had was on the small side but hey what do you need. (2 lifts). Have to recommend this hotel even though it probably means it will be full next time I want to get a room (March)

robertopiz I've stayed in many hotels in Vietnam as cheap as this one. But this is far better than the others. Good value for money, clean, internet wi-fi for free, good location, helpful employees. Also the breakfast included was good for the viet standards. Just a small problem at the beginning: we reserved a 3-beds room and when we arrive they didn't have it anymore for the first night. One of us was located (at their expenses) in the hotel on the opposit side of the street for one night. I would go there again, if i have to go to hcmc
