winston123 This Hostel is by far the nicest place i have ever stayed in all my years of travel! I have never felt so welcomed and embraced by total strangers in my life! From the moment i arrived to the moment i left i felt like a part of the family! The hostel is very conveniently located walking distance to the citadel, and for a very cheap 12 dollars they will organize for a driver to take you to all the tombs and pagodas. My driver was a super nice, he even bought me snacks from street vendors, foods i would not have known to try and enjoyed as much as i did! The rooms are immaculate and filled with natural sunlight! To top it off the complimentary welcome drink is a home made strawberry chilled tea, and the complimentary breakfasts are cooked to perfection and come with 3 different flavors of home made jam: passion fruit, mango, and pineapple. The only downside was i only stayed one night. But i will visit Hue again, if only to stay at this hostel again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

davidgilchrist loved this little hotel ,it can be worrying at first as it is down a little lane off the road ,but this is really is an advantage as it has less traffic and tourist noise . The rooms are large and airy and very clean the breakfasts cooked to order are good ,the pool maybe small but just so refreshing (it is cold ), and then you get to the staff , well they are just so helpful, with everything trips, laundry ,advice .This has to be one of the friendliest little hotel i have stayed at ,and with its central location (walking distance to forbidden city) what else could you want.

Cockle Lovely, budget hotel, located in a quiet side street which is quite close to the Citadel. The staff are super friendly and incredibly helpful without being over bearing. The bathrooms are modern, fresh and clean and the bedrooms are of a decent size. No complaints considering the low room tariff.

trunks_x86 Very good and friendly service from the hotel staff, though you would have to be careful if you are booking tours through the hotel. Different quotes were given by different people, though I suspect that it is only the young man who does the afternoon shift that is causing it. Felt like he was trying to rip us off, which was a pity, seeing that our stay here was extremely pleasant except for that. Otherwise, if you are getting your tours to the DMZ, phong nha caves via your own trusted agents, this is a good place to stay!

rikkefeldbaek Great hostel with an awesome restaurant/bar. Rooms are a bit small though but opens up to a nice balcany. The free breakfast is quite good.

dannyboych Stayed at the Sports hotel for 2 nights whilst in Hue. Good location for bars and restaurants. Good hotel pick up service from the train station which was a benefit and great especially at Hue train station. Rooms were clean, although not cleaned whilst we were there. Our room was at the very top of the hotel and higher than than the lift actually goes with the addition of extra stairs to reach the room. One tip is that not to book the tours with the hotel as they are overpriced and you can find the exact the same tours elsewhere in the town at tour offices for about $5-$6 cheaper...shop around! Overall a good hotel to stay on a budget.
