Von der malerischen Leliegracht sind es beispielsweise nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuss zum Anne Frank Haus an der Prinsengracht, zum interessanten Viertel der neun Strassen mit seinen exklusiven Boutiquen und Geschäften und den Dam, im Zentrum. Gleich um die Ecke befindet sich das überaus attraktive Jordaanviertel mit seinen vielen rustikalen Kneipen, kleinen Restaurants verschiedenster Nationen, Kaffeehäusern mit Uferterrassen, einer grossen Vielfalt an interessanten Geschäften und weniger bekannten, ruhigen Innenhöfen.
