Cádiz is a city and port on the southwest coast of Spain, it is the capital of the Cádiz Province one of the provinces of Andalusia. The old city lies on a peninsula that streches out into the Atlantic.

We will spend four days in Madrid, three in Seville and three in Cadiz in early May 2009. Our small hotel is just north of the Puero del Sol in Madrid. I can't agree more with above standing.. another perhaps nice daytrip could be cadiz on the beach.. lovely old city! and if you are only there for a few days, do reserve the tickets for the alcazar via the internet. There are long waiting lines each day.. and you need the whole day there it's amazing!! ... -
