Koh Samui
Ko Samui (เกาะสมุย) is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Thailand. It is the third largest island in Thailand and has a population of about 47,874 people making it very underpopulated. This island started as the originally hippy backpacker destinations in the 1970s and because of the influx of massive tourism the island has changed.

We had an aircon bungalow with hot shower... the hot shower didnt work, but the rest of the bungalow was really nice and clean. The staff was always really nice and helpful. The bungalows are all near beach, you have to walk only 10-30 meters to get there. There is an ATM and a 7eleven nearby. ... more

I was there in March 2008 with my family and it was a real value for money place to stay in! The beach is just behind and it shares a swimming pool with it's sister resort.. so it's all good!
