An important religious festival that takes place every May. The city is decorated in all of the beautiful flowers that bloom during this month. Children have a significant role in this festival; they carry flowers in baskets in religious processions held all around the city, and the flowers are sprinkled in memory of the highly venerated Virgin Mary.
